In this lab you will learn how to configure a Cisco router to perform Port Address Translation (PAT) which translates many inside addresses to a single outside public IP address.


Lab 11-4Configuring the Cisco IOS DHCP Server
In this lab you will learn how to configure the Cisco IOS Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol to dynamically assign IP addresses to host requesting a DHCP Address on the network.

Lab 11-5Configuring an IOS DHCP Server IP Exclusion Range
In this lab you will learn how to configure a Cisco IOS DHCP Server IP Exclusion range to prevent the DHCP Server from leasing specific IP Addresses in the specified pool network.

Lab 11-6Configuring an IP DHCP Helper Address
In this lab you will learn how to configure a Cisco switch to use a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Helper IP address to assist in client DHCP IP address request for a server.

In this lab you will learn how to configure a Cisco Router or Switch as a Network Time Protocol (NTP) Client to query and automatically set the time and date from a specified server

In this lab you will learn how to configure a Cisco Router or Switch as a Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server to provide time services to NTP client devices on the Local Area Network.

Lab 11-9Configuring Cisco IOS DNS Name Servers
In this lab you will learn how to configure multiple Dynamic Name Systems (DNS) Servers on a Cisco Router and/or Switch to resolve names to IP addresses.
