Section 6 – Configuring Static Routing

In this lab you will learn how to configure static routing on Cisco router(s) to ensure IP communication between three physically separated IP Networks.


In this lab you’ll learn how to configure a floating static route commonly used for redundancy when links fails resulting in routes being removed from the routing table.



In this lab you’ll learn how to configure a default route used as a “catch all” for traffic destined to a network which is not found in the local routing table.
